NYC Executive Chauffeur — Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: October 20, 2025
At NYC Executive Chauffeur, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our affiliate chauffeurs while maintaining operational efficiency and availability.
1. Standard Cancellations
- Sedan & SUV Transfers:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund (minus any non-refundable processing fees, if applicable). - Hourly & Event Charters:
Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time will receive a full refund. - Late Cancellations:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours (or less than 48 hours for hourly/event charters) before the scheduled pickup time may be charged up to 100% of the total fare.
2. Last-Minute and Same-Day Bookings
Reservations confirmed within 24 hours of pickup are non-refundable once confirmed. These bookings are considered final due to limited scheduling flexibility.
3. No-Show Policy
If a passenger fails to appear at the designated pickup location without prior notice, the ride will be considered a no-show.
- A no-show fee equal to 100% of the trip cost plus a 7% service and transaction charge (STC) will apply.
- Wait time charges may also be billed if the chauffeur remains on-site beyond the grace period.
4. Airport Transfers
Flight delays and cancellations beyond the passenger’s control are handled with flexibility:
- If your flight is delayed, your chauffeur will monitor your flight and adjust accordingly at no charge.
- If your flight is canceled, please notify us immediately. We’ll apply our standard cancellation terms based on notice time prior to scheduled pickup.
5. Weather and Force Majeure Events
In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control (see Section 31–32 of our Terms), NYC Executive Chauffeur reserves the right to modify or cancel services for safety reasons. Clients will be notified promptly, and rescheduling or full refunds will be offered where applicable.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within seven (7) business days of cancellation confirmation.
Refund eligibility requires written notice to support@nycexecutivechauffeur.com within the applicable cancellation window.
7. Corporate and Contracted Accounts
Corporate clients with signed service agreements may be subject to separate cancellation terms as defined in their individual contracts.
8. Modifications and Rebooking
Reservation changes (time, vehicle type, or destination) are subject to availability.
If modifications result in cancellation of the original booking, the standard cancellation terms apply.
9. Fraud Prevention and Abuse
We reserve the right to deny refunds or future service to clients engaging in repeated last-minute cancellations, fraudulent chargebacks, or misuse of the booking system.
